Kirsten Warner fresh from her NZ tour (“Everything So Far” with Bernie Griffen) brings her road tested sounds and poetry to the SOUL. Kirsten Warner’s poetry has been published in Landfall, Takahe, Bravado, JAAM and in the collections Our Own Kind, poems about animals, and Just Another Fantastic Anthology, Auckland in Poetry. She was the joint-winner of the Landfall Essay Competition in 2008 with creative non-fiction concerning history, colonisation and creativity. She has worked widely in j
“Chillele” a band with an emphasis on happy old swing tunes, and schmaltzy torch songs, sprinkled liberally with favourites from anywhere, anytime are: Angela Fox (ukulele/ lead vocal), Pedro Olding (cello/BVs), and Mark Watson (guitar/BVs ). With a lush lead vocal underpinned by a re-jigged cello, a rinky-dink ukulele and sweet, sensitive guitar, Chillele is a unique trio.
