The Library Bar is the alternative Viaduct venue; book-lined walls, retro paintings, plush sofas and moreish tapas; this unique and welcoming bar is fast becoming a firm favourite amongst all who discover it. Set to expand with the blending of its funky neighbour The Dining Room, The Library Bar is excited to be able to offer Aucklanders a venue for unique events – just like “Live”.
Award winning composer and classical guitarist Kotaro Nashishita will elegantly share a selection of his most eloquent music. This will be the last opportunity to enjoy his effortless style before he leaves our shores for Europe to attend two guitar festivals: “Koblenz” in Germany and “Ligita” in Liechtenstein.
After a huge success of his newest cross-disciplinary, multimedia show “Lovers Walk – a Poetic Journey in Eight Scenes” and before embarking on a tour of UK and Europe this winter, Gus Simonovic delivers his spoken word magic – live, raw and unplugged. Sometimes words are the only way back to where you came from, and poetry is the best way to the future – come experience it live!
Don’t miss the chance to share your talent on the open mic – whether you’re a wordsmith, musician, enthusiast, experienced or just curious, – “Live at the Library Bar” is for you.
